— Andreas Mohn, Founder
In his work, Andreas Mohn is particularly committed to mathematics and disadvantaged groups of people.
Since 1998, he has been successfully active as a broker on the stock exchange within the scope of private banking services offered by major banks.
He uses this freedom for travel and stays in cities such as Liège, Amsterdam, Paris and Oslo. He is also a member of the Bertelsmann family business.
In addition to his numerous projects, which he initiates with his foundation, there are also interesting sections to discover in his other areas of life.
1998
Since 1998 Andreas Mohn has published various books on topics such as labour market policy, "Texte zum Thema Frieden" and theoretical mathematics. He is also the author of the German National Library.
2002 - 2005
The artist group Artwork accompanied Andreas Mohn's life for quite a while. The good financial situation on the stock exchanges from 2002 - 2005 allowed him to grant a scholarship of 200 Euro per month to students and to provide materials such as paints and canvases.
2011 until today
Andreas Mohn established this foundation in 2011.
With his foundation he supports projects such as the "Bielefelder Tafel" or art courses for people with disabilities. A large part of his creative power is also spent on supporting highly gifted children and young people in international head rake championships.
